Madison Cowl and Headband

This is such a great crocheted set.  I love how soft this yarn is, and the color goes with everything!  I’m using one of my favorite stitches too!  I love how the stitches look and how fun it is to make.

I’m thrilled to share this FREE pattern with you!  Don’t forget to share your version and tag me on Facebook MB Stitches and on Instagram MB_Stitches!!

I love the satin-y feel of the yarn I used for this project. It’s perfect!  The cowl and headband use almost exactly one skein!  I love not having a lot left over.  Maybe it’s the OCD in me!

You could also use Caron Simply Soft Heather Yarn and it would be beautiful too!

  1. Love this beautiful cowl and headband! I am a relatively new crocheted..I am picking it up after many years..I am having an issue with my stitches stacking up on top of each other as they should..but for some reason the “stacks” lean off to the left. Any suggestions?

    1. Hi! I’m so happy you found my patterns and are giving them a shot! Actually, these stitches do ‘lean’ a bit to the left. You could adjust your tension next time and maybe loosen it a bit and it won’t lean so much. If you look at my picture, you will see that mine lean a bit too!
