It’s present wrapping time! I am currently obsessed with wrapping in brown paper and adding something fun on top or decorating with just a ribbon. Less is more! I had some scrap yarn laying around and thought why not make some music notes to add on top of some gifts? The beauty of this project is that you can use any color… any worsted weight yarn and it will be adorable.

Abbreviations:
- MR – Magic Ring
- sc – single crochet
MR
Sc 6 in ring
2sc around (do not join) (12 st)
1 sc, 2sc around. Join. (18 st) Fasten off and weave in ends.
Make 2 circles.
On second circle, do not fasten off. Join with a ss and ss once more.
Ch 10 (first stem) continue and ch 8 (beam) and ch 10 (second stem). You will have 28 chains.
Turn second circle the wrong side and join. Flip back around and ss up the stem for 10 st.
Ch 1. 8 hdc (top stem)
Ss in same last hdc and ss the last 9 down the stem. Fasten off and weave in ends.
