This hat fits a 24″ head around. The band measures 8.25″ laying flat.

- Lion Brand Yarn 135-099L Hometown USA Yarn, Los Angeles Tan
- Lion Brand Hometown USA Yarn (215) Little Rock Granite
- Clover Amour Crochet Hook, Size J, 6.0mm
- Yarn needle
- Yarn Scissors
- DIY 12pcs Faux Fox Fur Fluffy Pompom Balls
Abbreviations:
- ch – chain
- ss – slip stitch
- hdc – half double crochet
- dec hdc – decrease half double crochet
- sc – single crochet
Band
In tan:
Ch 7
Row 1: sc in second ch from hook. sc in back loop across. Turn. (6 st)
Row 2-44: ch 1 and repeat row 1.
Ss the ends closed to from a circle.
Sc around top of band. (44 st). Fasten off.
Hat
In Granite:
Row 1 hat: Attach new color by chaining 2 and turn work. Hdc around the top to begin the hat part. Join. turn. (44 st)
Row 2: ch 2. Hdc in back loops around. Join. Turn. (44 st)
Row 3: ch 2. Hdc around in both loops. Join. Turn. (44 st)
Row 4: ch 2. Hdc in back loops around. Join. Turn. (44 st)
Row 5: ch 2. (In both loops) Dec hdc, 9 hdc, dec hdc, 9 hdc, dec hdc, 9 hdc, dec hdc, 9 hdc. Join. Turn.
Row 6: ch 2. Hdc in back loops around. Join. Turn. (40 st)
Row 7: ch 2. (In both loops) dec hdc, 8 hdc, dec hdc, 8 hdc, dec hdc, 8 hdc, dec hdc, 8 hdc. (36 st) join. Turn.
Row 8: ch 2. Hdc in back loops around. Join. Turn. (36 st)
Row 9: ch 2. Dec hdc, 7 hdc, dec hdc, 7 hdc, dec hdc, 7 hdc, dec hdc, 7 hdc. (32 st)
Row 10: hdc in back loops around. Join. Turn. (32 st)
Finishing:
Weave tapestry needle in an out of top stitches and pull closed at top. Attack fur Pom Pom.
