Hello all! I’m back!! I’ve been absent from posting, but not from projects!! Working full time has made my hobby take a bit of a backseat… but here’s a fun new pajama eater that I whipped up! I hope you enjoy this Cat Pajama!
It’s the same basic design as my other patterns… the dino, the panda, the shark, and the bear. Simple and fun, and you can collect them all!!

- Bernat Baby Blanket Tiny Yarn, Gray Owl
- Red Heart Pink
- Lion Brand Vanna’s Choice Black
- Clover Crochet Hook, Size G, 4.0mm
- Clover Crochet Hook, Size H, 5.0mm
- Yarn needle
- Yarn Scissors
Abbreviations:
- MR – Magic Ring
- ch – chain
- sc – single crochet
- dec sc – decrease single crochet
- dc – double crochet
- ss – slip stitch
Body (size 5 hook)
with Grey Owl
Ch 44
Row 1: Sc in 2nd chain from hook across. Turn. (43)
Rows 2-84: ch. 1. Sc in 2nd ch from hook across. Turn. (43)
Sc up both sides after folding rectangle into thirds. Leave the top slightly larger to fit the eyes and make the ‘face.’ No need to measure, just use your best judgement!
Make 2 ears (Make 4 triangles – sc 2 triangles together and lightly stuff)
Ch 13
Row 1: sc in 2nd st from hook all the way across. (12 sc). Turn.
Row 2: ch 1. Dec sc, sc 8, dec sc. (10 sc) Turn.
Row 3: ch 1. Sc 10. Turn.
Row 4: ch1. Dec sc, sc 6, dec sc. (8 sc) Turn.
Row 5: ch 1. Sc 8. Turn.
Row 6: ch 1. Dec sc, sc 4, dec sc. (6 sc) Turn.
Row 7: ch 1. Sc 6. Turn.
Row 8: ch 1. Dec sc, sc 2, dec sc. (4 sc) Turn.
Row 9: ch 1. Sc 4. Turn.
Row 10: ch 1. Dec sc, dec sc. (2 sc) Turn.
Row 11: ch 1. Sc 2. Turn.
Row 12: ch 1. Dec sc. Turn and sc all the way around the triangle (making 2 sc in each corner in same st). ss to first st.

With Red Heart Pink

Row 1: sc in 2nd st from hook all the way across. (4 sc). Turn.
Row 2. Ch 1. Dec sc, dec sc. turn. (2 sc)
Row 3: ch 1. Sc 2. Turn.
Row 4: ch 1. Dec sc. Turn and sc all the way around the triangle (making 2 sc in each corner in same st). ss to first st.
Finishing
Stitch pink nose right above opening where you will put the pajamas. Embroider whiskers, eyes with eyelashes and a small mouth. Attach bow under either ear.
Bow
(in any color you have laying around!!)
ch 40
join with ss into a loop
Row 1: ch 1. sc in same st. sc around. Join.
Row 2-10: repeat row 1.
Leave long tail to wrap around middle of band where seam is many times.
