Open Sweater Vest

An open sweater vest is a perfect addition to any wardrobe and this one is easy works up really quickly!  I love this sweater over a white tshirt and jeans.  I get compliments every time I wear it!

I’m thrilled to share this FREE pattern with you!  Don’t forget to share your version and tag me on Facebook MB Stitches and on Instagram MB_Stitches!!

For the black tones vest, I used a heavier size 4 weight yarn for the back and lapels in complimenting colors.  You could use a Vanna’s Choice Obsidian for the whole vest and it would be gorgeous!  Or you could use two different complementing colors in browns and tans as well.  You can purchase Obsidian here.

    1. I used a silk yarn that came without a wrapping unfortunately (which is why I didn’t include the yards). I would suggest 4-5 skeins of Vanna’s Choice Obsidian (170 yds), which I recommended in the pattern. Good luck!
